Basic Wholesale Services

Ohio Valley Wholesale offers the following services as part of our everyday basic wholesale distribution services. Ohio Valley Wholesale Distributors Inc. are wholesale tobacco and convenience store merchandise distributors doing business in West Virginia, Ohio, and Kentucky.

  • One and most times two deliveries per week.
  • Next day delivery (with the possible exception of holiday weeks)
  • Ordering via Telxon.
  • Ordering via the Web.
  • Ordering via sales rep.
  • Ordering via Electronic data exchange.
  • Total supplier concept. We can supply almost all of you store needs thus enabling you to eliminate disruptive and expensive deliveries from specialty vendors.
  • Product mix – both national and regional brands that your customers demand.
  • EDI – electronic exchange of price book information, orders and invoices via Ohio Valley Wholesale proprietary formats with interface to most back end store systems.
  • In stock inventory rate of 99+% on “A” items and overall 97.5% in stock rate.
  • On time deliveries. Deliveries made within a two hour window of normal delivery times.
  • Single pick and case pick ordering.
  • 800 number for ordering and customer service.
  • Supplies and chemicals. We carry most supplies and chemicals needed to keep your store clean and neat.
  • Foodservice programs and products.
  • Logo imprinted cups and mugs for most major gasoline brands.
  • Order guides based on customer purchases with 12 weeks order cycle.
  • Cigarette and tobacco order guide showing average weekly purchases and 12 week order cycle.
  • Order catalog showing all warehouse items available with 12 week order cycle.
  • Custom invoice summary groupings.
  • Custom retail pricing.
  • Velocity reports available on request or via EDI or the web.
  • Retail allowances. All manufacturers’ retail allowances are given off invoice.
  • Category management and support.
  • Promotional merchandising support. We can help plan events and promotions and supply signage and shelf danglers to support the event.
  • Display racks. Manufacturers display racks available upon request.
  • Annual trade show.
  • Terms. Credit terms available to qualified customers.
  • Business reviews. Annual business review with one of our merchandising staff.
  • Product credit. Credit on most products based on the manufacturer’s credit return policy.
  • Product authorization lists by store.
  • Store reset. Store resets and tagging provided free of charge twice per year.
  • Special inventory items. We can stock non-core inventory items to satisfy your customer’s needs.
  • Shelf Tags. Shelf tags, both bar coded and/or priced, available upon request.
  • Rebate programs. We make available all manufacturers rebate programs and provide purchase reports to assist you in obtaining your rebate monies.
  • Sales promotions. Monthly sales promotions to assist you in maximizing your sales and profits.
  • Coupon processing. We will issue immediate credit and submit your coupons for processing.
